Ronald C. Chickering is a Certified Public Accountant and Senior Tax Consultant with Nanavaty, Nanavaty and Davenport, LLP. Before joining the firm, Ron was a sole practitioner in Monroe for over 25 years specializing in individual and small business taxation and consulting. Prior to that, he was the Vice President of Finance and Administration for Glendinning Associates in Westport, a Marketing and Promotion consulting firm, and spent two years as the Finance manager of their London, England operation. Ron started his career with Price Waterhouse and also was the Assistant Comptroller of ITT Flygt Corporation for five years.
Ron holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Fairfield University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Connecticut Society of Public Accountants. He served as Director of the Monroe Chamber of Commerce and served on the Selective Service Board.
Ron is a Connecticut native and in his spare time, is an avid gardener having won several Blue ribbons at local fairs. He also enjoys bike riding and motorsports.
